I’m a former award-winning journalist who has edited and written for numerous business and professional magazines in Canada. Having worked for large and small companies and for myself, as well as reporting on many more, I’ve seen how various kinds of businesses operate, from the inside and outside. I’ve come to admire the extraordinary things that corporations can accomplish, while shaking my head at the way many of them treat their employees.

 

All this was inspiration for Losing It, my first work of fiction, which I wrote after escaping the corporate rat race of Toronto and moving north to the more peaceful lake district of Muskoka, where I now live and write.
